Information You Enter
A name, phone number, or address submitted in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the result. Sanger Residents Directory does not keep a copy of the search in its own content database. If you send a message, the information in that message reaches the mailbox used to answer it and is used for that response.
Routine Technical Logs
The hosting environment may record an IP address, browser and device details, pages requested, referrer information, and timestamps. Those technical records help maintain service and measure page use in aggregate. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics or advertising measurement when those services are enabled.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the reference, troubleshoot errors, understand aggregate traffic, and improve its pages. Visitor lists are not sold by this reference, and individual user profiles are not intentionally built from ordinary visits.
External Records and Search Links
Pages link to Fresno County and California portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Information sent to one of those destinations is governed by that provider’s policy. Sponsored search results are supplied by an outside company, whose handling of an entered name, phone number, or address is separate from this policy.
Who May Receive It
Hosting and technical service providers may process the server information needed to deliver the pages. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the limited automatic information described above. Disclosure may also occur when a valid legal process requires it; otherwise the reference does not intentionally disclose a visitor’s message or technical data.
Security and Retention
Pages are delivered over an encrypted connection where supported, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described above or for the period selected by a service provider. There are no user accounts here, so the reference does not hold a password or account profile for a visitor.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed toward children. It does not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information to the contact mailbox, use the Contact page so the message can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.
California Privacy Choices
California’s Consumer Privacy Act, Civil Code §§1798.100 et seq., as amended by the CPRA, gives covered consumers rights that can include access, correction, deletion, limitation of some sensitive-personal-information uses, and opting out of sale or sharing. Because this reference retains little direct visitor data, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and available technical records. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by the City of Sanger, Fresno County, or a California agency are controlled by their custodians and are not removed through this reference.
California’s Delete Request and Opt-out Platform, known as DROP, is a separate state privacy tool for registered data brokers. It does not promise removal from a county deed index, court file, voter system, or historical collection. Requests to a public custodian should be sent to that custodian under its applicable process.
